Rhyl is a very popular holiday resort on the North Coast, by the mouth of the river Clwyd. It is famous as “Sunny Rhyl” and its title is apt as it has a lot of sunny days a year. Apart from its sunshine, Rhyl is famous for its glorious beaches and brilliant pier fun.

Is Rhyl a nice place to live?

Rhyl has been voted worst place to live in Britain but I think this is by people who haven’t been around Britain that much. Most of the housing in Rhyl is really nice. “The seafront parade, in keeping with the conditions, proved comfortably more dreadful than any I had yet experienced.

Is Rhyl worth visiting?
